When I decided to put my condo up for sale, I needed someone to coordinate repairs, painting, and cleaning since I do not live in Gainesville. I contacted Shawn Hicks with Allison Ables Real Estate, and I could not possibly have chosen better. Shawn handled everything thoroughly and professionally and kept me apprised throughout the entire process. He was able to recommend people to do the work to prepare the condo for sale, and he met them at the condo to let them in and followed up to be sure they had done the work. The outcome was that the condo showed so well that I had a buyer within three days. Because Shawn handled all aspects of the sale, I did not have to go back to Gainesville at any time. Shawn Hicks is highly professional, ethical, and efficient, and I give him my highest recommendation. I have never dealt with anyone in real estate who worked harder or with higher standards. He was easily available by phone or email, and his efficient handling of all aspects of preparing the condo for sale, as well as the sale itself, greatly reduced the stress of the entire process.
